Each Man Kills The Thing He Loves

Querelle is last Rainer Werner Fassbinder's movie, shot in 1982. Fassbinder died of a drug overdose shortly after its completion.
The story is inspired by the novel Querelle de Brest by Jean Genet. The lyrics of the song Jeanne Moreau sings in the scene above are taken from Oscar Wilde's The Ballad of Reading Gaol.

My friend videoartist Daniele Pezzi asked me to sing in an extreme noise/metal version of the song he wants to record for one of his awesome video installations. I will do that in the next future.

A Videomeditation by Giuseppe Genna

On Giuseppe Genna's blog I found an interesting Blob like videomeditation about recent Italian history. This video is connected in some ways to Genna's latest novel, Italia De Profundis, which I'm reading now and that's really shocking me.
As soon as I finish reading I will post my impressions on the book, that, in my opinion, is set to become one of the most important Italian novels ever.
